We are looking for an HR Specialist specialized in recruitment and training activities for an immediate start to reinforce our team. Our new colleague will be based in our head office in Luxembourg, reporting directly to the HR Manager.

As an HR Recruitment & Training Specialist, your role is focused on 2 main areas of responsibility: talent acquisition and talent development activities. You will be responsible for recruitment activities, ensuring Flen Health has the required talents to run the business effectively.

Then, your job is to ensure that all employees have the personal and technical skills they need to carry out their professional activities and support the company in its plans for the future.

Your responsibilities:

Talent acquisition:

Work with Hiring Managers in providing end-to-end recruitment support including but not limited to:

  •  Prepare and post job openings
  • Proactively source candidates and activate the right channel that matches the business’s needs
  • Screen candidates and schedule interviews
  • Conduct HR interviews and write reports
  • Monitor recruitment activity and maintain dashboards
  • Attend recruitment events and job fairs if required
  • Provide feedback to candidates and external agencies
  • Prepare employment offers

Talent development:

  • Collect training and development needs within Flen Health through job analysis, appraisal systems and regular consultation with business leaders
  • Develop and Improve our Learning Management System (LMS), communicate and train people in the use and new functionalities of this new tool
  • Design and develop training and development programs based on the needs of the organization's strategy and the individual
  • Deliver training on HR topics yourself, and for more specialized topics liaise with internal experts or an external trainer
  • Take into account the costs of the planned programs and respect the budgets defined by the HR manager
  • Evaluate the "return on investment" of any training or development program through questionnaires and discussions with managers
  • Collect and record all certificates and proof of training in the HR system
  • Ensure that legal training requirements are met
  • Modify and revise programs as necessary to adapt to changes in the working environment
  • Assist line managers and trainers to solve specific training problems, either individually or in groups
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant publications, attending meetings and attending appropriate courses


  • Demonstrate a keen interest in continuously improving current HR processes, policies and tools and participate in ongoing projects
  • If necessary, provide support for HR administration and payroll tasks

Your qualifications & experience:

  • You hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in human resources or related field
  • You can demonstrate at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical/pharmaceutical sector 
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken). A very good command of French, German or Dutch is an asset
  • You have strong knowledge of of recruitment process and techniques
  • You have good interpersonal skills and are keen to help and support employees throughout their careers with the company
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • You are proficient in MS Office: comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
