We are looking for a Sales Manager for an immediate start to lead our medical sales representatives in the Netherlands. This is a permanent full-time position attached to our Dutch entity, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director Benelux.
As Sales Manager, you combine a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit to meet the market demands of our business. You will define the commercial strategy to increase the sales of Flen Health products and services to raise market share and turnover and build long-lasting relationship with clients and stakeholders reflecting the high-quality standard of Flen Health and its products.

Your responsibilities:
- You will define the commercial strategy of your territory in cooperation with the Product Manager, Sales & Marketing Director Benelux and the Head of Commercial Operations
- You will oversee and direct the work of your direct reports to ensure annual and long-range goals are being met
- You translate the strategic guidelines to a dynamic business plan for each focus area in your territory
- You maintain and enlarge commercial contacts with crucial key clients, high potentials or decision-making units in order to build a long-term relationship and achieve the assumed turnover
- You plan, organize and deliver sales meeting and give valuable input to the management
- You manage the performance appraisal process with each member of the team, setting-up yearly objectives, review with a mid-year assessment and then evaluate each result at the end of the year
- You negotiate and close long term contracts and tenders that offer prices and conditions that meet the requirements for both, client and company, and you support and guide your team in negotiation process
- As an expert of your country, you use and interpret field information and analyze sales data to set targets, strategies, and bonuses for your team to ensure Flen Health growth targets and strategies from year to year
- You monitor and report achievement of your team on a constant basis against set target and strategies and adapt or correct where appropriate
- You are responsible for recruitment, development, and management of a team of successful people in the territory
- You ensure CRM system is maintained in line with company standards
- You are in charge to ensure your direct reports’ business plans are kept up to date and demonstrate that are being used as an effective tool
- You manage activity of the team to improve performance and capabilities, you align the team on the companies’ values and the common company strategies and procedures and you communicate best practices
- You work closely with all departments in order to optimize the effectiveness of the business’s sales efforts at all fronts; e.i. with finance department in formulating and deciding sales team budgetary allocations for optimal functioning and performance, with the Human Resources department in providing the recruitment criteria for key sales team positions in order to guarantee proper execution of duties in those positions and, therefore, the entire sales department, and with the Marketing and Medical department in order to achieve goals together
- You ensure and increase leadership, motivation, and ongoing skill development of each team member
Your qualifications & experience:
- You hold Paramedical or Nurse degree or equivalent based on relevant experience
- You can demonstrate successful professional experience in a sales role and management experience
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills
- You show a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit
- You are a results-driven individual who is able to motivate a team to achieve objectives
- As a Team Manager, you can be assertive with your team and have excellent organizational and planning skills
- You have excellent coaching skills
- You possess excellent analytical mind and skills
- You have strong knowledge in Extended medical and pharmaceutical sales
- You demonstrate the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and CRM system & Showpad
- You have knowledge/experience of Extended product and Quality procedure
- You are a Dutch native speaker and have a fluent level of written and spoken English.
- You hold a valid Driving License
